Wire-Haired Dachshund Photo Gallery for Ramon

He was loved for 13-1/2 years before he moved on.

Looking UP

Ramon was a short, but long animal.  As a spirited little dog, looking up was part of his attitude too.   He loved ladies, kissed up to them and watched for the tall girls in short skirts.
Ramon was adorable.  He didn't mind getting soaked because he'd put his head out the window in the rain as we drove down from a hike in the mountains.

To Ramon this was joy.

Yes, that's a tortilla.  What else would you use?

 Little Red Riding Ramon.
We think he's living in dog heaven in Wengen, Switzerland.

Be My Valentine
Ramon had personality and made lots of friends on this planet.  We always said he was from Venus.

Eye Contact
Most dog lovers know how amazing their pets can be.  Ramon was so distinctive when he trotted  down the street that he became an icon in our neighborhood, LoDo.  People didn't even see us on the other end of the leash.

He understood everything. He didn't need eye contact with us to communicate.

Ramon Scaring France World Cup Soccer Ball
Ramon was really fast and loved chasing balls indoors especially with his nephew, Jeff.

With treats after every 'pop' he was a willing and perfect model for this task.  The following shot appeared in Popular Photography magazine among others.  This film image was used to illustrate the creative features of the Pentax 645 medium format camera which I used under contract with Pentax.

Ciao!  Ramon!
